Outline
A perfectly fitted piece of clothing made not by a person but by microorganisms, through em- ploying 3D scanning to mold a pattern of the model onto which bio-leather was grown. Through a process of garment making in co- creation with bacteria, the work reexamines the modern significance of fashion/apparel in the Anthropocene, in which biotechnology has come to hold tremendous implications for the global environment.
