Dark Matter

The supernovas exploding in Dark Matter are prophecies that were fulfilled many years ago. Their examination involves a hyper-extension of the senses, a form of spatial and temporal diversion. It constitutes a gaze from the here-and-now to the there-and-gone. The colorful spectacle of the supernovas almost entirely camouflages the colossal process of destruction they embody. Once again, catastrophe is camouflaged as fantasy. This frontier similarly exists on the level of the medium. Facing the photograph amounts to standing at a threshold – to an invitation to transgress the existing limits.
