A triptych of digital kinetic artworks that mediate viewer interactions with virtual wildlife. Each machine combines a physical hand mechanism controlled by the viewer that interacts with a virtual natural environment. Our current economic system treats nature as an infinite resource, with technology serving to amplify these disturbances to the planet’s equilibrium. The work invites viewers to contemplate this relationship through a surreal lens.
