Outline

Reworking of TEZUKA Osamu’s manga Dororo. Hyakkimaru is feared and abandoned after he is born in an incomplete body. With a sword implanted prosthetic hands, Hyakkimaru goes on a quest to discover the secret of his birth while fighting monsters with bandit Dororo. Asks the original’s profound questions, “What is a human? What is life?” with swordplay that brings together the best of modern animation and shooting techniques.
