Futaro’s fusen nikki

A comic adaptation of a diary written during and after the Pacific War by YAMADA Futaro, the historical fiction author known for his Ninpo-cho series. During the war, YAMADA struggled with his inability to serve his country due to poor health. Even after the defeat, he continued questioning himself about the direction Japan should be headed, while being perplexed by the changing world. This work humorously depicts YAMADA’s keen eye for the world.
