J-PHONE Sky Pavilion

The Inpaku pavilion presented by the J-PHONE Group has been created around the concept of encouraging people to take a look up at the sky. The vast content of this gallery site includes photographs of the sky taken from all over Japan, a picture book of clouds, and stories about the constellations. Deserving of special mention is “KAZE NO Airmail”, an interactive web installation that let’s you communicate with strangers via messages you compose that turn into paper planes and fly through cyberspace. This beautifully designed site won high marks for its refreshing clarity of organization and accessibility.
