Josee, the Tiger and the Fish

Animation based on TANABE Seiko’s novel of the same title. Josee, a wheelchair-bound woman, lives alone with her grandmother. Tsuneo, a university student, starts looking after Josee after saving her from falling down a hill. Although the two collide, they are eventually drawn to each other. The distinctive visual effects of animation vividly express the imaginary world that Josee unfolds and the sparkling emotions that the two communicate.
