At the present time when caricatures such as political one-frame cartoons have lost their momentum, Tai Ito skillfully combined current themes and gags and produced a new form of caricature that is easy for present readers to accept. Many of her works are full of vitality and invite explosive laughter. We can’t take our eyes off her activities.
