Ka-Ta-Ka-Ta

Digital fabrication technology is employed to convert a disused 35 mm film camera into a handmade projector. The 36-frame endless film it projects depicts the life and death of a man and a woman. The imagery evokes sensations of touch and texture as it addresses the theme of the workings of media in an era when the recording medium for cinema is transitioning from film to insubstantial data.
