Kakukaku shikajika (So-and-so, Such-and-such)

An autobiographical work depicting a time in the artist’s life when she dreamed of becoming a creator of shojo manga (girl’s manga), and half a lifetime later when the dream is fulfilled. HAYASHI Akiko, a third-year high school student who boasts about her drawing skills, starts attending the classes of Mr. HIDAKA, a painting teacher with a bamboo sword… A story with laughter and tears, depicting intense characters and episodes together with memories of her mentor.
