Locus

This work is an austere composition of motion graphics, using nothing but lines to draw shapes. A sea storm, towering waves, a waterfall, a five-story pagoda and others are recreated as powerful images, in line art without a narrative. The artist forsakes realistic depiction of his subjects and instead captures physical shapes in outline, expressing a new world that is grounded in the sense of vision. Shapes freely alter themselves and flow on without stopping.
