MIRAI is an animated fantasy story about two siblings: Kun, a pampered four-year-old boy, and Mirai, his younger sister who comes from the future. From his little house designed around a tree in a corner of a bustling metropo- lis, Kun departs on a time-transcending journey into his family’s story. The film depicts this per- fectly ordinary family as a symbol of the enormous everlasting circle of life.
