New Existentialism

This work combines a virtual exhibition of artworks by KOBAYASHI Kenta, HIRATA Naoya, and yang02 and an approach to physical space by displaying the printed photos of the works in a corridor of a commercial building. Based on Markus Gabriel’s neo-existentialism, which states “existence is a phenomenon in a field of meaning,” it ontologically reexamines the works developed in both virtual and real spaces.
