Nonfacial Portrait

The painters, invited by the artists, made por- trait paintings of a person under one rule: “the face of the portrait must not be detected by machine vision.” Watched by a camera equipped with three face detection algorithms, the painters must draw a face that can only be recognized by human. The installation consists of the portraits along with the video of the painters’ processes.
