The theme of the work is a novel Underworld by an American author, Don DELLILO, which depicts the country’s shadows in the latter half of the 20th century such as nuclear weapons and issues of waste. Scenes of puzzling truths pierce through the foam veil of a can of beer that a hummingbird sips into. Motifs such as poodles, machines, a white human-shaped character carrying pieces of a puzzle, and men appear one after the other in candy colors.
