One Woman and the War

An ambitious work to which KONDOU devoted herself for six years. The work is based on SAKAGUCHI Ango’s unique novel, One Woman and the War, which portrays the world of a couple living for the moment during wartime – a nihilistic novelist and a frigid former prostitute. This manga reconstitutes three different novels: the unexpurgated edition of the novel prior to its censorship by GHQ, its sequel, and Watashi wa Umi wo Dakishimeteitai (I Want to Hold the Sea).
