This is “smart footwear,” a wearable device in which a pair of sneakers contains some 100 individually controllable LEDs, a Bluetooth module, and a 9-axis motion sensor. The wearer can custom-design light colors and sounds emitted by the sneakers with a special smartphone app, as well as develop new applications with a software development kit (SDK).
