OTEMOYAN

A visual representation of the concept of the modern arrangement of the Kumamoto folk song “OTEMOYAN” by Yano et Agatsuma (a unit of YANO Akiko and AGATSUMA Hiromitsu), using a pair of robot arms to play the role of a couple. Eating, playing instruments, and dancing activities develop into choreography where they intertwine with each other, pursuing the fun of likening mechanical movements to something else.
