OUDO NO INU

This work is set in Meiji Era Japan, Korea and China. A young Japanese revolutionary Masato Kan, is the main character of this historical tale. With skillful composition and beautifully drawn lines, the way the rapid unfolding of the story grabs the reader and draws them in is fascinating. There are limits to comic drawing technique, but the spirit of the Meiji Era, where one could be adventurous and greedy, is clearly expressed in this powerful work.
