Pukkulapottas and Hours in the Forest

Pukkulapottas are the name given to a 15-centimeter-tall creature that “Watashi” (I) found in the garden while spending a long time at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. This stop-motion animation was shot under natural light by the director alone through trial and error, contrasting the natural movement of the puppet with the fast-moving people and scenery. It is a mockumentary-style work about a mysterious dwarf.
