Silently like a comet

This work takes a close-up view of the protests that occurred in Kiev’s Maidan Square without providing any broader perspective of the city. By repurposing amateur footage from the Internet, the work provides an ironic view of the events that were presented in a spectacular manner by the media after a series of demonstrations developed into mayhem in Ukraine at the beginning of 2014.
