since I were children

In this one book, I have summarized my feelings of something like anxiety, impatience, and desolation that I have had since I was a child. Though these feelings were merely enemies during my childhood, they have become the motive and a mainspring for me now that I can draw characters and pictures, although they remain hostile. I feel some mystery there.
