Still Lives

An experimental work using stop-motion animation to show how traditional figurines from various times and places on a museum display that suffer from the pressure of modern life. From the perspective of figurines fixed on an exhibition stand, in a glass case, or as pictures drawn on a pot or wooden board, the work explores the theme of “busy stillness,” where we are constantly busy but not going anywhere.
