TENGOKU-DAIMAKYO

In the ruins of a futuristic Japan, Maru and Kiruko travel ominous and terrifying places, intent on survival. Meanwhile, Tokio, who bears a striking resemblance to Maru, lives within the utopian safety of walls, as in a paradise. The two previously independent stories begin to correspond to each other around the Takahara Gakuen school. This work depicts the anxieties, growth, and complex feelings of boys and girls in a grand sci-fi world.
