The EyeWalker

This installation enables participants to experience a “jumping sightline” by looking at monitors placed here and there in a public space. The EyeWriter, a vision tracking system (winner of an Excellence Award at the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival), is set up in a booth; when you look at a monitor in the scene before you, your sightline jumps to that location, then jumps again when you look at another monitor. In this way you can wander from monitor to monitor.
