The waterside

A story about a certain summer day in the life of a grade school student, Megu-chan, in a town in Saga coursing with beautiful rivers. The artist uses thicker pen strokes, as if with an ink-damp brush, to trace a story based on childhood memories until every corner and square is filled with waterside flora and townscapes. Here, naïve Megu-chan moves through the spaces between life and death, the spaces no one sees yet remain with us always.
