The Witch of Latakia

A compilation of seven short stories. The story from which the book’s title was taken is of two brothers. Cruelly separated after being sold to human traffickers, the younger brother is delivered to a witch. As the boy grows up together with the witch, the course of his hapless fate is revealed. Other stories include Boya no kurisumasu, a slapstick drama about Santa Claus and his adorable helper, and Travel Writer about a tourist trip turning into a story of survival.
