USAGI DROP

While attending the funeral of his grandfather, Daikichi meets a girl, Rin, who is holding gentian flowers. Rin becomes attached to Daikichi, and is later found to be an illegitimate child of his grandfather. All the relatives argue about who will take care of Rin. Daikichi cannot bear the pressure, and he finds himself taking care of her without much thought. Thus, begins the strange life of a 30-year-old single man and a 6-year-old girl.
