Vincent

A graphic novel depicting the last years of the painter Van Gogh, produced over a three-year period at the request of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It covers the roughly three years from when Gogh travels from Paris to South Tyrol, yearning for the bright colors of Japan, until his death. Uses simplified illustrations and colors from Van Gogh’s paintings, and works from his later years appear often throughout the story.
