A brick house in East London lived in for decades by a series of Japanese residents has 3D scans made of its tangible elements. Capturing physical surface details, the technology provides objective indices and spatial recognition for machinery. With its views of things as perceived by something temperamentally different from the senses we have, the work contemplates subjectivity and the mind as a fundamental distinction between Life and Machine.
