Zenkamono (Ex-Convict)

A human drama about a part-time and unpaid national civil servant/volunteer probation officer who supports the rehabilitation of parolees. The story shows how probation officer AGAWA Kayo earnestly deals with people who have committed crimes for various reasons and exposes problems of modern Japan, including women who get involved with stimulants and have experienced domestic violence, and elderly shoplifting addicts.
