The 24th Japan Media Arts Festival received 3,693 entries from 103 countries and regions in its four divisions: Art, Entertainment, Animation and Manga. In each divisions, Grand Prizes, Excellence Awards, New Face Awards, and the new awards Social Impact Award and U-18 Award were selected. Other than the four divisions, newly created award, Festival Platform Award received 114 entries from 34 countries and regions and selected Award-winning Works. In addition to it, Special Achievement Award selected people who contributed in the Field of Media Arts.
The Exhibition of Award-winning Works will present selected works featuring a wide range of styles, genres and forms of expression, as well as materials documenting the lifetime accomplishments of Special Achievement Award winners.
