The 25th Japan Media Arts Festival received 3,537 entries from 95 countries and regions in its four divisions: Art, Entertainment, Animation and Manga. In each division, Grand Prize, Excellence Awards, Social Impact Award, New Face Awards, and the new U-18 Award were selected. In addition to the four divisions, Festival Platform Award received 125 entries from 40 countries and regions, and two Award-wining Works were selected. Individuals who contributed in the field of Media Arts were also selected for Special Achievement Awards.
The Exhibition of Award-winning Works will present selected works featuring a wide range of styles, genres and forms of expression, as well as materials documenting the lifetime accomplishments of Special Achievement Award winners.
