INORI Prayer

This work is a performance created with a face mapping system that uses a projector capable of 1,000 frames per second and sensing technolo- gy capable of ultra high-speed measurements. This system can keep up with the kind of rapid- re performance that was previously impossible, and this has dramatically enhanced the expres- sive capacity that transforms the projected object, so that the image projected onto the face looks like it is part of one’s skin.
