Preface of Memory： K’s Slides

My work began with my discovery of old slides in empty houses. The films belonged to a man ‘K’ who traveled around Japan in 1968. I referred solely to the notes written on each slide, which were about the places and people taken in those pictures. I traveled around Japan and captured different memories and flows of time between ‘K’ and me.
