Futaro’s fusen nikki

YAMADA Seiya (a.k.a. YAMADA Futaro) established himself as a historical fiction author with his series Ninpo-cho during the Showa era. Near the end of the Pacific War, while all of YAMADA’s peers were sent to the front, he was left behind, struggling with his inability to serve his country due to poor health. The manga is a comical adaptation of YAMADA’s diary, in which he fails to dull his sharp tongue against Japan and the world of those years.
