ToyToyota “Backseat Driver”

An iPhone application allowing children sitting in the back seat handle ‘my car’ to follow the course of the vehicle which is called “daddy’s car,” that is GPS-linked with the car they are riding, and join in the fun of actually driving themselves. A FourSquare application programming interface records stores and other points of interest on the route as “items,” earning points with which users can customize their iPhone car. A new type of mobile entertainment designed to introduce car owners of the future to the pleasures of driving.
